Simon Site Monitor Updated With Window Enhancements And More

Dejal Systems has released an update for Simon, bringing it to version 1.0b2. Simon is a site monitoring app designed for checking the status of Web and FTP sites. The update ships with new window enhancements and other features. According to Dejal Systems:

Dejal Systems today announced the immediate availability of Simon 1.0b2, a significant upgrade to its new Mac OS X SIte MONitor.

This application checks web and/or FTP sites that you specify at the desired frequency, and indicates when they change or go down.

Changes in b2:

  • Added Source and Preview windows
  • Improved the Dock icon badge
  • Changed the way changes are detected
  • Change detection can now be disabled or enabled for each test
  • Added tabs to the main window, with Changes and Failures as the (current) options
  • Added a separate check frequency for when a site is down
  • Added tables for specifying notifiers for each test
  • and more..
