Update: It has come to our attention that some people may have interpreted our story as being in some way disrespectful of Sinbad (see comments below). In fact, the opposite is true. We think it is awesome that Sinbad has lent his voice to Appleis phone support lines. Itis definitely a very cool way to start your tech support phone call off with a smile. :-)
Speaking of Star Power, Apple has enlisted the help of comedian Sinbad for the Apple support telephone lines. A routine call to Appleis support line at 800-275-2273, found noted and vociferous Machead Sinbad offering the recorded greeting. After his greeting, one is dumped off to a more traditional set of menu options.
