Snowmint Creative Solutions LLC has released an update for Ultimate Pen, bringing it to version 1.2. Ultimate Pen is a utility designed for drawing directly on top of other applications. The update features multi-display support and improved Exposé integration. According to Snowmint Creative Solutions:

Snowmint Creative Solutions LLC, a publisher of personal productivity software solutions, announced today the release of Ultimate Pen version 1.2 for MacOS X.

Ultimate Pen allows the user to draw on top of almost any application with a variety of tools. Ultimate Pen is very useful in education and training sessions, as well as simply making quick notes to yourself. It includes an integrated system wide hot key that allows you to show or hide your drawing at any time.

This release adds multiple display support, including the ability to enable or disable drawing on individual displays. Also new in this release are additional preferences for the tools palette, a contextual menu to quickly change tools, and better integration with Expose on MacOS X 10.3 (Panther) and later.

You can find more information about the Ultimate Pen update at the Snowmint Creative Solutions LLC Web site. The Ultimate Pen update is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$29.95.
