The 512MB Memory Stick PRO Duo media will now be priced at about $250 and the 256MB Memory Stick PRO Duo media has been reduced to about $95. The Memory Stick PRO Duo media features all the same benefits of standard-size Memory Stick PRO cards offers. The Memory Stick was introduced by Sony in 1998. Sony reported that as of 2003, the cumulative number of products featuring Memory Stick slots exceeded 50 million.
