SpaceNavigator Gaining Second Life Support

· by · News

3Dconnexion announced on Thursday that it is adding support for Second Life to its SpaceNavigator 3D mouse. The company claims that adding support for navigation in Second Life means users will be able to move, fly and design objects more naturally in the virtual online world.

The SpaceNavigator will support avatar control, camera view navigation, and control 3D objects in build mode without requiring users to stop to access keyboard commands.

Second Life support should be available in mid-April for the SpaceNavigator Personal Edition, SpaceNavigator Standard Edition, SpaceTraveler, SpaceExplorer, and SpacePilot 3D navigation devices.
