Speed Download 3 Gets Performance Boost

Yazsoft has released Speed Download 3, a major performance update to its Mac OS X download manager.

Speed Download 3 has been rewritten using Apple Xcode 1.5 for better performance, its developers said.

Other new features include a redesigned, more intuitive interface, redesigned Speed Download plug-in architecture, seamless integration with all popular Mac OS X browsers, full support for files over 4 gigabytes in size, compatibility improvements, directly importation of downloaded music directly into iTunes, automatic auto-resuming of uploads, the ability to turn Speed Download on and off, support for macgamefiles.com and audible.com, and much more.

Speed Download 3 retails for US$20. Version 3 is free update version 2.0 users.
