Speedy Mac Promises to Boost Performance

Altomac announced the immediate availability of Speedy Mac for Mac OS X on Thursday. Speedy Mac is a utility that gives users quick access to the applications, documents, folders and Web sites they access every day from the menu bar.

Speedy Mac auto groups recently used items, groups Web pages by site based on favorites and commonly visited, and groups documents based on application type. It also includes a Task menu that can hide or quit all running applications, create new folders, eject all removable media at the same time, run custom scripts, and more.

Speedy Mac is priced at US$27 and is available for download at the Altomac Web site.
