Splendid City Updated With CSV Schedule Importing

Niagra Software has announced an update for Splendid City, bringing it to version 3.5. Splendid City is a sports themed utility designed to cover all aspects of league organizing and scheduling. The update features several enhancements including CSV schedule importing and tournament enhancements. According to Sports Scheduler:

Here at Niagara Software, we wanted to let you know that weive released a free version of our sports scheduling software called Splendid City Lite v3.5 (formerly known as Advanced Team Scheduler).

Splendid City Team Sports Scheduler, and Sports Scheduling System is useful for people who organize team sport or game events. It can manage sport schedules of any size and complexity. Simply fill in the requested information into the wizard like interface, and Splendid City automates the season, tournament, league, match, and round-robin schedules.

New program features are as follows:

  • Splendid City, as of version 3.5 (Lite and Professional) can import CSV schedules produced by 3rd party software and create Splendid City projects to be analyzed, published (Pro only), or exported as Splendid City xml object files
  • Added support for publishing navigational tournament bracket views, (pro license required) Professional users may now export Splendid City generated single and double elimination tournaments schedules to tournament brackets in a addition to the current tournament table view
  • Added the ability to track and resolve game players/participants/officials scheduling conflicts within and across schedules. All participants listed in the team rosters or listed as an official as part of an officiating crew, will be checked for scheduled conflicts
