Sports Scheduling App Updated New Name And Features

Niagra Software has announced a name change and update for Advanced Team Scheduler. Now called Spendid City Lite, the app is a sports themed utility designed to cover all aspects of league organizing and scheduling. The update features several enhancements including simplified Web creation and new publishing panels. According to Sports Scheduler:

Here at Niagara Software, we wanted to let you know that weive released a free version of our sports scheduling software called Splendid City Lite v1.8 (formerly known as Advanced Team Scheduler).

Splendid City Team Sports Scheduler, and Sports Scheduling System is useful for people who organize team sport or game events. It can manage sport schedules of any size and complexity. Simply fill in the requested information into the wizard like interface, and Splendid City automates the season, tournament, league, match, and round-robin schedules.

New program features are as follows:

  • Splendid City Publisher panel that replaces the older export and ftp panels. Users may now choose to publish a project and all of itis schedules as a full blown Web site in just a few clicks
  • No prior knowledge of HTML or Web site design is necessary to produce complex navigational Web sites with printable schedule views, current standings, game results, individual team, location, and official schedules
  • Users may now create site home pages and customize them with decorative banners and Web log style announcement columns, and can choose to publish the home page once or every session
  • Users have the option to publish some or all schedules to a local folder on disk or to a remotely hosted Web space via FTP
  • Added new iPublishi sub menu to the File --> Project
  • Added support for prioritized field constraint resolution
