StarCraft II Coming to the Mac

Blizzard Entertainment has finally revealed that StarCraft II is in development. The real-time strategy game is being developed for both Mac OS X and Windows, and will be released for both platforms simultaneously.


StarCraft II

The new version of StarCraft will build on the features in the original version, and will include single and multi-player modes. It will also feature a new 3D graphics engine capable of rendering realistic landscapes along with massive individual units and army sizes.

New units will be introduced for the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg, and some units from StarCraft will return with new capabilities. Battle.net will also receive updates to enhance online game play and competition.

Pricing and release information is not yet available.
