During last weekis NAMM trade show in Anaheim, Steinberg introduced Virtual Guitarist 2, which the company will ship next month. Highlights of the new version include a 6.8GB library of performances by studio guitarists across 88 styles of music, a new Part Editor for full editing control over every phrase and a range of virtual stomp box effects.
Steinberg did not release pricing. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4, an 867MHz G4 processor (1.8GHz Dual G4 recommended), 512MB RAM (1GB recommended), 7GB free hard drive space, a DVD drive and CoreAudio-compatible audio hardware.
