SubRosaSoft Introduces System Protection App FileDefense

SobRosaSoft.com announced the immediate availability of its new file protection and system watchdog application FileDefense 1.0 on Thursday. The system utility alerts you when unauthorized applications, malicious scripts, and network services try to access the files and data on your Mac.

FileDefense 1.0

FileDefense includes a pre-configured list of trusted applications, a drag-and-drop interface for customizing the trusted application list, and more. Users can choose to allow or deny activity from apps that arenit on the trusted list, or kill unwanted processes that are running on their computer.

FileDefense 1.0 supports Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5, and is available at the SubRosaSoft.com Web site. It is priced at US$59.95 as a download, or $69.95 on CD.
