SubRosaSoft, Ltd. has released a update for VolumeWorks, bringing it to version 1.1. VolumeWorks is a utility designed for hard drive partition management. The update features support for Disk Jockey and includes partition shifting. According to SubRosaSoft:

SubRosaSoft.com Ltd., a software company based in New Zealand focusing on system utility and privacy software, today announced the immediate availability of VolumeWorks 1.1.

VolumeWorks enables you to resize and manage partitions (volumes) on your hard drives. Unlike traditional methods Volumeworks allows you to shrink or expand partitions without erasing them. It is able to hide partitions from most users, and can be used to delete or create partitions.

The latest version of the software incorporates numerous improvements which include partition shifting, Diskology’s Disk Jockey support, a new and streamlined user-interface and a new OS X bootable CD that boots systems ranging from iMacs to the latest PowerBooks.

You can find more information about the VolumeWorks update at the SubRosaSoft, Ltd Web site. VolumeWorks 1.1 is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$49.95.
