Take Control Announces Screen Sharing, Back to My Mac Titles

Take Control and TidBITS announced the immediate availability of Take Control of Screen Sharing in Leopard and Take Control of Back to My Mac on Thursday. Both ebooks by Glenn Fleishman explain how to remotely access Macs over a local network and over the Internet.

Take Control of Screen Sharing in Leopard covers the screen sharing options available to Mac OS X 10.5 users including iChat, Bonjour, direct to IP address or hostname, Back to My Mac, and third-party options. It also explains how to share screens with older versions of Mac OS X and Windows, and properly configure routers for screen sharing.

Take Control of Back to My Mac goes into detail on using Leopardis Back to My Mac service, how to download documents remotely, share files, take advantage of Screen Sharingis hidden features, set up your router, take security precautions, and more.

Both titles are priced at US$10 and are available in PDF format at the Take Control Web site.
