As noted by our friends at MacMinute, Target will be selling Appleis new Mac mini through its online retail store at Target.com. The company is currently listing both the 40 gigabyte model and the 80GB model at Appleis list price of US$499 and $599 respectively, but as regular readers of our DealsOnTheWeb.com site already noted, you can get a 10% discount coupon bringing the prices down to $449 and $539.
The Mac Observer contacted Targetis PR department to find out if the company will be selling Mac minis in its brick and mortar stores, but company spokespersons did not returned our phone calls by press time. A call to local Target locations in San Jose, CA returned a "we donit sell computers" response.
Apple will begin selling Mac minis in its own Apple Store retail outlets Saturday (tomorrow), January 22nd.
