Targus on Tuesday introduced new eco-friendly cases for MacBook and MacBook Pro laptops. The Radius bags are made of PVC-free material and are composed of 100% recycled polyester, recyclable plastic, and nickel-free metal. They also feature an EVA molded compartment to protect the computer from shocks, as well as space for an iPod, mouse, and power adapter.
The Radius bags sell for US$99.99 for the messenger and top-loading styles and $129.99 for the backpack version. The first two come with a removable shoulder strap and padded carrying handle, while the backpack version has an iPod cord management system in the shoulder strap, along with a side pocket for easy iPod access. All three include custom printed lining and carabineer key ring.
