· by · News

Telestream announced the immediate availability of its Flip4Mac Image Server Component for Final Cut Pro on Friday. The Final Cut Pro plug-in adds IMX file compatibility and MAXX server file transfer support to Final Cut Pro.

The component supports importing MPEG-2 IMX 30/40/40 M/bit standard definition video, uncompressed audio, and metadata from MAXX servers directly into Final Cut Prois project bin. It also exports MPEG projects via Ethernet back to MAXX servers, and lets users rename imported files during selection.

Flip4Mac Image Server Component is priced at US$495 and is available at the Telestream Web site.
