Televaulting Backup & Recovery for Mac OS X Announced

Asigra, Inc. announced Monday the release of Televaulting for Mac OS X, a agentless backup and recovery system for Macintosh servers.

Designed to support backup needs for both local and multi-site environments, Televaulting for Mac OS X allows users to protect every system on the network without agent-based license fees, agent installation, agent-induced performance loss and annual agent upgrades. The solution allows a Macintosh server to back up Mac OS X systems, Windows servers, PCs or laptops. Televaulting for Mac OS X even supports backing up systems running Novell NetWare, Linux, or Unix.

Televaulting will be available in the fourth quarter of this year, the company said. It did not disclose pricing.
