TextExpander 2.1 Catches Up with Fast Typists

SmileOnMyMac announced the immediate availability of TextExpander 2.1 on Tuesday. The update for the typing shortcut and customizable abbreviation expander improved overall performance and reliability for fast typists, and added support for single-character abbreviations.

The update also added the ability to remember open groups in the applicationis Preference Pane, preserves formatting when creating snippets from the Clipboard or from selections, corrected an issue when expanding from multiple nested snippets, fixed several bugs, and more.

TextExpander 2.1 is priced at US$29.95 and is available for download at the SmileOnMyMac Web site. The update is free for version 1 and version 2 users.
