The Hulk Soundtrack To Be An iTunes Music Store Exclusive

June 3rd, 2003 at 3:00 PM - News by Vern Seward

The Incredible Hulk is big, really big, both in the Green Guyis dimensions and the apparent appeal of the upcoming movie. Famous names are associated with the Hulk, from the Oscar nominated and Emmy Award winning actor, Nick Nolte, to Hollywoodis hottest composer, Danny Elfman. The latter, whose music can be heard in a wide variety of popular movies including Batman, Edward Scissorhands, and Nightmare Before Christmas, has also composed the score for the Hulk, and that soundtrack, which will be released on June 17, according to an article in the Comic Continuum, can be had exclusively through Appleis new iTunes Music Store. From the Comic Continuum:

The soundtrack for The Hulk will be released on Decca/UMG Soundtracks on June 17.

Scoring the original soundtrack is Danny Elfman, whose many credits include Batman and Spider-Man.

The soundtrack also includes a new exclusive track, "Set Me Free," which was inspired by the film and recorded by an all-new super group featuring Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots; vocals), Slash (Guns Ni Roses; guitar), Duff McKagan (Guns Ni Roses; bass), Matt Sorum (Guns Ni Roses; drums) and Dave Kushner (Suicidal Tendencies; guitar). This is the first-ever commercially available track from this new hard rock mega-group and can be downloaded exclusively on Appleis iTunes Music Store from June 8-17.

Thereis more information about the movie and related issues in the full story at the Comic Continuum.
