The Mac Gathering Comes to SoCal April 5th, 2005 at 3:00 PM - News by Bryan Chaffin The Mac Gathering will be coming to Southern California from Friday, May 13th, to Sunday, May 15th. The event is Beverly Garland’s Holiday Inn in North Hollywood, CA, and includes vendor exhibits and sessions for Mac users. Show organizers said the event will include an exhibit hall, free feature presentations called "Virtual PC," "The Mac in the Business Of...," and "Tips on Starting a Small Business." In addition there will be a free "Birds-of-a-Feather" discussion, as well as paid courses for learning more about the Mac. Lastly, there will also be an Intensive course called "FileMaker Pro Bootcamp: FileMaker from soup to nuts," a US$199 intensive course. Exhibits passes are $10 in advance, $20 at the door. A two-day Seminar Pass is $65 in advance, $75 at the door, and a one-day Seminar Pass is $40 in advance, $50 at the door. You can find more information at the Mac Gathering Web site.
