Aspyr Media, Inc. on Thursday started shipping The Sims Complete Collection (US$49.99), which includes the original best-selling game The Sims as well as seven expansion packs: Hot Date, House Party, Livini Large, Makini Magic, Superstar, Unleashed, and Vacation. Everything is contained on a single DVD.
Glenda Adams, Aspyris director of development, told The Mac Observer that the company wonit be issuing a Universal Binary for The Sims. "It runs fine under Rosetta," she said. Universal Binaries for The Sims 2 and its University and Nightlife expansion packs are in the works, however.
The Sims Complete Collection requires Mac OS X v10.3.9 (v10.4.4 recommended), a 500MHz G3 processor (1GHz G4 recommended), 256MB RAM (512MB recommended), 3.5GB free hard drive space, and a DVD drive.
