Things Looking Good For Apple Everywhere

It seems that Apple is having success in other parts of the world as well as the US. Things are looking good for Apple in Germany, as market share has increased by a full percentage point since the last quarter. According to the German Mac magazine, MacGadget:

MacGadget, a leading German Mac News Service (www.macgadget.de) reports about Apples success in the German computer market today.

According to the latest numbers of market research company IDC, Apple increased itis market share in Germany to 2.4 percent in the second quarter compared with 1.9 percent in the same period of 1999. Apple sold about 35,000 Macs during April, May and June. This means a unit growth of 37.1 percent and the highest growth of a computer maker in the second quarter. The whole computer market in Germany grew by 9.2 percent.
