ThumbsUp Upped To Version 3.0, Supports More File Formats, Scaling By Percentage

· by Alex Allee · News

DEVONtechnologies has updated its ThumbsUp application to version 3.0. ThumbsUp is a thumbnailer program, and the new version can save thumbnails as TIFF, GIF, JPEG, or PNG, and can scale images by percentages as well as absolute sizes. From DEVON:

ThumbsUp is a simple and fast drag-and-drop based utility to create thumbnails for a bunch of pictures and supports all image formats of Mac OS X and Quicktime (including PDF documents). In addition size, quality and antialiasing are configurable.

Version 3.0 saves thumbnails as TIFF, GIF, JPEG or PNG and let users scale images not only by absolute width and height values but also by percentage. This is extremely useful when set to 100 percent, as this makes ThumbsUp a powerful automatic image converter. Optionally, ThumbsUp sharpens the generated thumbnail, configurable from light over medium to strong.

ThumbsUp 3.0 is available now for free from DEVONtechnologiesi Web site.
