TikiMac Boosts Performance of Mahana Hard Drives

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- TikiMac has announced the Mahana II external hard drive. The high-capacity drives sport dual FireWire 800 interfaces that offer up to a 25% speed boost over the original Mahana drive. They also have improved compatibility with both Macintoshes and Windows PCis.

The Mahana II external hard drive is hot-pluggable and requires no special drivers or software installation for Macintosh or Windows PC users.

The Mahana II is available in a variety of capacities, including 500GB ($399), 600GB ($599), 800GB ($799) and 1.2TB ($1149). It comes with FireWire 400 and 800 connector cables, and also includes a 3 year limited warranty.
