Toshiba Mini Hard Drive Adapter

Addonics announced the immediate availability of its Toshiba 1.8-inch to 2.5-inch IDE hard drive adapter on Friday. The adapter lets you connect Toshibais smaller hard drive, like the one used in the iPod, to standard laptop and desktop IDE connectors. The company also announced the Addonics Pocket ExDrive enclosure for using Toshiba 1.8-inch drives as removable storage devices. The enclosure can connect a FireWire, USB, SATA, or CardBus interface using the Addonics USIB interface cable.

The Addonics 1.8 to 2.5-inch adapter is priced starting at US$14.99. The Pocket ExDrive enclosure starts at $69.95.
