Trans Intl. Releases Memory Upgrades For New iMac Users

Trans Intl. is now shipping a new RAM upgrade modules for iMac users. The modules features 1 GB of DDR333 memory expansion for users of the new iMac configs, and doubles the rated memory density. According to Trans Intl:

Trans Intl. today announced the worldwide availability of 1 Gigabyte (GB) DDR333 (Double Data Rate) memory upgrade modules for the newly released Apple iMac G4 15-inch 1GHz Combo Drive, iMac G4 17-inch 1.25 GHz Super Drive model, iMac G4 20-inch 1.25 GHz Super Drive model, which enables the systemis main memory to be expanded up to 2 GB (Gigabytes).

Without these upgrades, the systemis main memory capacity was limited to a total of 1 GB [Gigabyte] of main memory as currently specified in Apple documentation.

Trans Intl.is  1 Gigabyte (GB) memory upgrade consists of 1 GB DDR memory module for the User Slot and 1 GB DDR Memory Module for the Factory Slot.

The Apple 15,17 and 20 inch iMac models have two memory expansion slots for the systemis main memory expansion. Trans Intl.is  1 Gigabyte (GB) memory upgrades double the memory density of each memory expansion slot [User and Factory] to 1 GB. Each memory expansion slot  was previously limited to only 512 MB (megabytes).
