USB Powered Microscope From Dr. Bott

· by Mike Washlesky · News

Dr. Bott is now shipping a USB powered microscope for the Mac. The ProScope features a 50x lens and light source and is designed for educators or law enforcement in the field. The ProScope ships with point and shoot functionality and hand held portability. According to Dr. Bott:

Dr. Bott offers ProScope through their reseller channel.

The ProScope is a bus-powered handheld USB microscope that allows you to display and capture microscopic images with your computer.

The ProScope comes in a robust package that brings its own light source directly to the object and makes microscopy a point-and-shoot technique much like digital photography. Simply connecting a ProScope to an iBook creates a fully mobile field kit for previewing and immediate archiving of results!

ProScope is perfect for education, law enforcement and any other profession or individual who wants a window to the microscopic.

You can find more information about the ProScope at the Dr. Bott Web site. The ProScope is available for US$229.00.
