Unity 1.2.1 Improves Compatibility, Stability

Over the Edge Entertainment (OTEE) has released version 1.2.1 of its game-making software Unity. This update fixes a few bugs, improves the stability of Windows games and adds support for some older graphics cards and USB Overdrive mice. Unity enables game designers to deploy their creations to Mac and Windows as standalone releases or as Dashboard Widgets or as a Java application for the Web.

This is a free update for existing Unity customers. The standard version of Unity sells for US$249 while the Pro edition, which offers access to more graphical effects, sells for $999. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3, a 500MHz G3 processor, 256MB RAM and a Radeon or GeForce video card with 32MB of Video RAM.
