Mark/Space Inc. on Tuesday announced that at the end of March it will offer a free Universal Binary update for Missing Sync for Palm OS. It will enable the software, which lets Mac OS X users sync their data with Palm-based smartphones and PDAs, to run on PowerPC- or Intel-based Macs.
Users of Missing Sync for Palm OS version 4.0 or older can upgrade to version 5.0 for US$24.95. The full software is $39.95 as a download or $49.95 on a CD and requires Mac OS X v10.3.9 or v10.4.2 as well as Palm OS 5 and a native USB, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection.
