UserCreations Updates Spring With Headline Enhancements

UserCreations has released an update for Spring, bringing it to version 1.2. Spring is a personal desktop assistant designed with an object oriented interface. The update features several enhancements including visual news headlines and drag-and-drop support. According to UserCreations:

UserCreations today delivered Spring 1.2, a significant upgrade to its groundbreaking, Web-inspired desktop for OS X.

Spring has two simple ideas. Spring Objects are the digital equivalents to the things you encounter in your daily life: people, places, products, etc. Spring Canvases are simply visually organized collections of Spring Objects.

New Major Productivity Features in Spring 1.2 include:

  • Visual News Headlines (based on RSS): Drag and drop RSS Headlines
  • Direct-to-Desktop Amazon Products: Drag and Drop from Amazon to Spring

New Major Innovations in Spring 1.2 include:

  • In-Place Visual Filtering: Visual filtering by person, place, product, etc with no context change
  • Visual Bookmark Collections: A tradable collection of links and files by dragging a single icon

New App Integration in Spring 1.2 include:

  • Drag and drop Headlines to and from NetNewsWirePro

You can find more information about the Spring update at the UserCreations Web site. Spring 1.2 is available for US$21.95.
