Vectorworks 2008 Offers Vastly Improved UI

· by · News

Nemetschek North America announced on Thursday the release of the latest upgrade to VectorWorks line of precision design 2D/3D CAD software. In development for two years, significant changes were made which include a heads-up data display, more precise controls, and a new View Bar.

In addition, the program has been streamlined with fewer mouse clicks and many new batch-editing capabilities, such as the ability to select and edit multiple windows and doors in walls at one time. In addition, a new Rotate Plan command makes it easy to work on parts of a design that lie at odd angles, while still drawing orthogonally, according to Terri Nyman.
