Veenix Adds New features to Visual Font Database System

Veenix Software has added several new features to its Visual Font Database System, its WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) system for organizing, viewing, activating and printing fonts. The company offers two versions of the software, Veenix Font Tools and Veenix Design & Type Tools, and both have received such new features as: color-coded font-type icons in the Font list, for quick identification of TrueType, OpenType and other font types; the display of the physical location of the font file; a pop-up menu for categorizing fonts; and a new Options menu for adding and removing fonts, revealing them in the Finder and more.

Upgrades to either application are free for existing users. Font Tools is US$29.95 for a single user while Design & Type Tools is $39.95; both offer five-user and site license discounts. Mac OS X v10.2 or higher is required.
