Video Systems Online has posted a tip on how to import MPEG-2 based HD material into Final Cut Pro using an AJA Kona HD board. The MPEG-2 based HD (actually HDV) originated on a JVC camcorder and writer Steve Mullen tries a variety of ways of getting the video into the FCP timeline. After a series of attempts, Mr. Mullen is succesfull, and offers readers an indepth explanation of the real world HDV import tips.
