Virtual Alarm Clock Evolution Continues

Koingo Software has released an update for Alarm Clock Pro, bringing it to version 5.3. Alarm Clock Pro is a virtual alarm clock designed with customizable ring tones and multiple date settings. The new version has user suggested performance enhancements and bug fixes. According to Koingo Software:

The current version of Alarm Clock Pro (5.3), holds a few very important fixes and introduces a much desired Mac OS X streamlined interface. The list included below is a detailed outline of the changes which have been made:

  • Note: System Volume Slider temporarily disabled for Mac OS X versions
  • Bug Fix: Quickly double clicking an alarm to get a preview no longer causes a File Not Found error
  • Bug Fix: Attempting to play a non-QuickTime compatible file no longer
    causes an error
  • Bug Fix: If the system volume is changed outside of Alarm Clock Pro, the main slider now reflects that change (Mac OS 9 only)
  • Bug Fix: Now button in Classic now properly selects the day of the week
  • Bug Fix: Now buttons no longer forget to add the initial zeros if the minute or hour is below 10
  • New Feature: System Alerts will now show when previewing an alarm
  • New Feature: Timer information is no longer cleared when the stop button is clicked
  • Modification: Time Zone Calculator moved to the File menu
  • Modification: Internal Ring Beep now doesnit spawn new alarm windows
  • Major Enhancement: Completely rewrote ringing and preview code
  • Enhancement: More Mac OS X interface compatible
  • To Come: Floating Timer window (pulled out of main window)
  • To Come: Floating "Next Alarm Will Ring At..." window
