Vote To Put Jobs, Woz, & Atkinson In Computer Hall Of Fame Ballot

Letis take a show of hands, who thinks that Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Bill Atkinson should be in the Computer Hall Of Fame? Yeah, thatis what we thought, itis unanimous. The Computer Museum of America is preparing to add to itis Computer Hall Of Fame, and they are allowing us to help choose the people who will be on the ballot. We want to repeat that: We can all vote on who will be on the ballot, so we can then vote for the finalists. According to the Computer Museum of America:

We need your input -- help us nominate this yearis class for the Computer Hall of Fame! Visit our online ballot where you can vote for up to 10 visionaries, innovators and others who made the computer revolution happen.

Bill Atkinson - Led the team that developed the Apple Lisa, the first commercial computer with a Graphical User Interface of desktop and mouse (1983).

Steve Jobs - Cofounder of Apple Computer (1975). Founder of NeXT Computer (1985). Started Pixar Animation Studio, which makes movies with computers (including the popular "Toy Story").

Steve Wozniak - Built the Cream Soda Computer, an early pre-CPU kit computer. Designed and built the Apple I and Apple II personal computers. Cofounder of Apple

There are many other worthy people on the list, and you may have hard time keeping your vote down to 10 people. As of this writing, the siteis servers were a tad busy and we can not see how things stand, but several Observers have told us that Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Bill Atkinson are all in the Top 10. With your help, they can stay there, so go vote!
