WWW Surfing Tool Updated

Studiotron has updated their World Wide Web surfing tool, Surftron, to version 1.1. Surftron allows users to easily manage bookmarks and monitor Web sites for new or updated content. The latest version allows users to monitor particular Web sites for specified key words. According to Studiotron:

Studiotron, Inc. today announced an update to their popular new program, Surftron for Macintosh. The new version (1.1), adds a major new feature, Keyword Watch, which allows Surftron users to watch their favorite websites for specific text. The new version also contains many other enhancements that provide better feedback and more efficient memory usage.

Surftron introduces three powerful new concepts to help users use the web, One-Touch Surfing, Smart Marks, and Site Sharing.

One-Touch Surfing is the easiest way to surf. With Surftron users create lists of bookmarks, which they can surf with one touch. Used in conjunction with Smart Marks, they can surf their favorite websites whenever they have new content and Suftron will let them know when they visit a website which contains a Keyword.

Smart Marks make Surftron more useful than other web applications. Using Smart Marks users can know whenever their favorite websites have new content from when they last visited them and when they contain Keywords, which they specify. If their favorite website has something new and contains a Keyword, Surftron will let them know.

Site Sharing is a new concept for bookmarks. It allows users to share bookmarks with others on the web, as well as find bookmarks that others have shared. And the bookmarks are all Smart Marks, already configured to automatically detect changes in website content.

Surftron is available for US$39.95. You can find more information at the Studiotron Web site.
