WebDesign Update From Rage Software

Rage Software has released an update for WebDesign, bringing it to version 1.8. WebDesign is a Mac based Web development tool designed for creating Web sites by visual means. The update ships with improved editing functions and other enhancements. According to Rage Software:

Rage Software today announced the immediate availability of WebDesign 1.8, a fully featured web authoring package for the Mac OS and Mac OS X.

WebDesign is a unique Macintosh Web development tool offering many features not found in standard HTML editors. WebDesign allows you to visually create HTML elements including forms and image maps and insert them into your document.

New in WebDesign 1.8:

Edit PHP files using full PHP syntax coloring with WebDesign 1.8. Update an entire Web site by editing one file using WebDesign Includes which allows you to include the contents of external files within your Web page. Convert HTML entities on the fly as you type or convert entire Web pages to use appropriate HTML entity values. Quickly preview documents with a COMMAND-R keyboard shortcut and ensure your Web page is displayed correctly by forcing WebDesign to automatically save your page before previewing it in your Web browser.

You can find more information about the WebDesign update at the Rage Software Web site. WebDesign 1.8 is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$29.95.
