Webshots For Mac Enters Beta Testing

Twofold Photos, Inc. has announced the beta release of Webshots Mac Desktop. Webshots is an app designed to work with the Webshots online digital image resource. Now ported to the Mac platform, the service provides access to a large library of digital images and desktop backgrounds. According to Twofold Photos:

Webshots, ranked by Nielsen/NetRatings as the #1 photo site, has announced the beta release of Webshots Mac Desktop, a photo wallpaper manager that allows Mac users to decorate their desktops with one-click downloads of any Webshots image.

Webshots offers more than 6,500 professional wallpaper photos for free download. Users can also upload, store and share their photos on their personal Webshots homepage, and add their own photos, plus millions of beautiful images from the Webshots Community, to the wallpaper manager.

Webshots is the world?s largest photo site with over 26 million registered users. Free membership allows Webshots users to browse more than 35 million photos and download their favorites. Members can also upload and share their own digital images, posting 85,000 images a day in online photo albums.

In addition to free membership, enhanced features such as unrestricted downloads, additional personal photo storage and advertisement-free browsing, are available with the Webshots Unlimited service.
