West Forest Systems released Tuesday CDFinder 5.0, an upgrade to the CD cataloging tool. The new version has a new user interface and other improvements.
Other changes include cataloging photo thumbnails, full Unicode support, and a drastically improved work flow.
CDFinder is designed to be a complete disk cataloger and media asset manager. It can quickly find photos, audio files, or other media and data files on a single computer or on a network. It can scan a wide range of media and can create thumbnails for the most often used image formats, JPF, TIFF, EPS, RAW, PDF, PSD, BMP, GIF and PNG.
CDFinder 5.0 is a Universal Application and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later. A free trial is available. CDFinder is priced at $39 for a single user license.
