WiebeTech announced the immediate availability of the fourth generation versions of its DriveDock product line on Monday. The DriveDock lets you connect hard drives to your Macis FireWire ports without first placing them in drive enclosures. The new models offer dual FireWire ports, a USB 2.0 port, a 12 volt power adapter, and use the Oxford Semiconductor 911+, 922, or 924 bridge chipsets.
The FireWire DriveDock v4 and NoteBook DriveDock v4 are priced at US$149.95, the ComboDock v4 is $169.95, and the SATADock v4 costs $229.95. All models are available at the WiebeTech Web site.
