· by Brad Gibson · News

WiebeTech LLC announced Tuesday a set of Combo Adapters, which allow for the attaching of hard drives to any computer.

The Combo Adapters are designed to work in conjunction with WiebeTechis Forensic ComboDock, which allows write-block access to the drives through high-speed FireWire 400 and 800 or the regular ComboDock, which allows read/write access to drives.

The ComboDock works with 3.5-inch hard drives, but with the Combo Adapters, users can connect to a variety of drives from MicroDrives and CompactFlash to 3.5-inch drives.

A new Cable Adapter lets I.T. technicians connect to a hard disk drive mechanism already afixed to a PC.

The Combo Adapters The adapters will ship in mid-April for between US$49.95 to $99.95. A kit of all seven adapters are available for $499.95. The Cable Adapter retails for $24.95.
