· by · News

WiebeTech announced the immediate availability of its CD/DVD Imager robot on Wednesday. The robot automatically images CDs and DVDs to hard disks, takes a picture of the original optical disc, and stores the digital photo with the hard drive-based image. It also creates digital signatures that are stored in log files and the disc images, uses open-source imaging tools, and supports other Linux-based imaging applications.

The CD/DVD Imager is priced at US$2,399.95, or $2,699.95 for a portable version.
