WipeOut 2097 Gets A New Patch

Virtual Programming has released a patch for WipeOut 2097. WipeOut, recently ported to the Mac platform, is a gravity defying race simulator set in the near future. The patch fixes a few bug issues, but also features QuickTime 6 support and language enhancements. According to Virtual Programming:

Virtual Programming are pleased to announce that a new patch for WipeOut 2097 is now available from our Website.

The following changes are made:

  • Now using Appleis new packaging system and have added language support for English, French, German and Swedish
  • Intro movie now plays with QuickTime 6
  • Network options now use OpenPlay instead of NetSprocket
  • Pointer is now hidden during the game
  • Fixes to Sound volume control
