World of Warcraft Update Adds Blackwing Lair Raid Dungeon, More

Blizzard Entertainment, makers of the Diablo, Warcraft and StarCraft games, released Tuesday World of Warcraft 1.6, the update to its best-selling massively multiplayer online role playing game. The new version, which can be downloaded by logging into the game server, features the addition of the Blackwing Lair raid dungeon, the inclusion of the wandering Darkmoon Faire, new Battlemasters units located in towns that allow easy access to a battleground queue and dozens of bug fixes.

World of WarCraft retails for US$49.99 and requires the following system specifications to run:

-933 MHz or higher G4/G5 processor
-Mac OS X 10.3.5 or later
-512 MB of RAM
-Video card with 32 MB VRAM
