Woz, Kawasaki, J. Allard Judge My Dream App Finals

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, former Apple evangelist Guy Kawasaki, Xbox and Zune creator J. Allard, Mac OS Finder creator Bruce Horn, and G4TechTV personality Amber MacArthur are on board to judge the final round of the My Dream App contest, which began on Monday. Voting runs through 8:00 PM EDT on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at which time the three winners will be announced.

"Itis always fun when someone innovates in the computer world. My Dream App is doing that by turning software design and development on its head," Mr. Wozniak said in a press release.

As in past rounds of voting, My Dream App will also give away free Mac software to each voter. This time, theyill get the Dock extender Overflow 2 and the 3D photo slideshow creator PhotoPresenter. Each voter should make three selections among Cookbook, the discussion forum browser Hijack, the file syncing utility Portal, the music software Whistler, the virtual weather guide Atmosphere, and the virtual plant Blossom, which responds to productivity.

The three who are eliminated will receive Mac mini computers, while the three winners will get a 1.83GHz MacBook and an MDA publishing contract.
