XM Radio Online Adds Mac Compatibility

XM Satellite Radio today announced that it has added Mac compatibility to its premium Internet radio Service, XM Radio Online. Additionally, the company has added two new XM music channels available only online: Eye (Channel 26) offers a mix of contemporary hip hip tracks, while enLIGHTen! (Channel 34) features southern gospel music.

The two new stations bring XM Radio Onlineis total commercial-free channels to 72, "ranging from classical to underground rock, bluegrass to blues, Latin jazz to reggae, plus several of XM Satellite Radiois exclusive talk and entertainment programs."

Three Mac Web browsers are now compatible with the service, provided Microsoftis Windows Media Player 9.0 is also installed: Appleis Safari, Mozillais Firefox, and Netscapeis Navigator.

XM Radio Online is available for a monthly fee of $7.99. Customers already subscribed to XM Satellite Radio can added XM Radio Online for $3.99. A free, three-day trial is also available.
