Xserve Lights-Out Management Firmware Update 1.1 Address Lights Out Issue November 28th, 2007 at 2:00 PM - News by Jeff Gamet Apple released Xserve Lights-Out Management Firmware Update 1.1 on Wednesday evening. The firmware update for the Intel-based Xserve addresses an intermittent problem that caused the LOM port to become unresponsive. Xserve Lights-Out Management Firmware Update 1.1 installs in the Applications/Server directory and must be launched and run to update the firmware on your Xserve. It can be run as an application in the Finder on the Xserve you are updating, or remotely from the command line. Xserve Lights-Out Management Firmware Update 1.1 is a free update, and is available for download at the Apple Support Web site.
