Applicorn has updated their Unix oriented Mac OS X system utility, Xupport, to version 3.3.2.
The new version adds the following:
- Backup: New option to choose whether the file sizes should be calculated or not
- Backup: Software Restore: Fixed file permission settings on the final restore disk image
- Maintenance: Enhanced rebuilding of the launch service caches (rebuild desktop)
"Xupport is a multipurpose system utility for Mac OS X. It provides many features to configure hidden Mac OS X and Unix options, to increase system security and performance, to maintain and backup Mac OS X, and to dig deeper into the world of Unix," the announcement said.
Xupport is a universal binary and compatible with Mac OS X 10.3.9 and 10.4.x. It is priced at US$19.90.
