Yok Software Ships New Imagemap Utility

· by Mike Washlesky · News

Yok Software is shipping a new app for Mac users, YokMap. YokMap is a utility designed for the creation and editing of imagemaps. The app features CERN and NCSA importing/exporting and multiple area resizing. According to Yok Software:

Yok Software is pleased to announce the immediate availability of YokMap 1.0 for Mac OS X.

YokMap is a tool to create and edit imagemaps, "clickable pictures," for use in Web pages. An imagemap is a graphic image linked to different pages, depending on where the user clicks. The program works harmlessly as a complement to any HTML-editor of choice. It creates new imagemaps and opens imagemap in any HTML-document, no matter what program that was used to create it.

YokMap is easy to use, but still offers powerful features such as CERN and NCSA import and export, resizing multiple areas simultaneously, zooming the working area, automatically loading images from a server when needed and having text encoding and HTML entities conversion to be done automatically in the background.

You can find more information about the YokMap release at the Yok Software Web site. YokMap is available for US$10.00.
